HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS LAST?
Both MIcroblading,Ombrè Powder Fills and Combination Brows(Combo) will last as long as they are maintained. These treatments are considered semi-permanent and will not wash off, but will fade over time. Untouched, the ink will last anywhere from 1 to 3 years.
The frequency of touch ups needed depend on a few variables including but not limited to; iron deficiency (pigment is an iron oxide base and body will absorb this much quicker if iron deficient), lightness of pigment used (lighter colors tend to fade quicker), sun exposure (the more sun exposure on the treated area will not only make it fade quicker but can also alter the color), treatments (chemical peels, lasers, topical Retinols or anti-aging products will make the pigment fade quicker).
Final results can not be guaranteed, everyone is unique and heals differently. We will work with you and reassess your brows to get your desired results. Hair strokes may heal more crisp on dryer skin types, and oily skin types may fade quicker and/or can blur. This also does not mean that they will, everyone heals uniquely. The touch up allows us to evaluate how your skin is accepting the pigment and we will make any necessary adjustments then.
IS IT PAINFUL?
There is some discomfort associated with the procedure. A topical anesthetic is used to numb the area before and during the procedure. People say the sensation is similar to getting threaded and/or tweezing.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A BROW CONSULTATION?
Brow hair color is analyzed, and the desired shape is drawn on with a specialized pencil. We will draw each strand to create a symmetrical, natural-looking brow that is custom-made for your bone structure, giving you the chance to see how dramatically new brows change your face. Once you are satisfied with the shape and thickness, the specialist consults with you on color. We mix and match the hue to ensure we get a shade that is closest to your natural hair color . We will also discuss the procedure, the after-care, how long it takes the skin to heal, and how to ensure the best results.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A BROW TREATMENT?
The specialist will create your brow by hand, strand by strand. A topical numbing cream is applied that stays on for about 15 minutes, and then a special tool is used to make small, hair stroke incisions in the skin underneath the brow, this technique is also known as Microblading. The shallow cuts are filled with pigments selected to compliment your skin tone. The treatment takes about two hours, with enough time to assess each step of the way.
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY TIME?
There is no downtime, however the brow will take about one week to fully heal. The brow will soften in color by up to 40-50%. During this period, after-care procedures should be carefully followed.
